I turn the screw 'til it drives me back,
I dust the shelves 'til they blind me with shine,
I read, I write, 'til my hand no more,
I watch, I observe, 'til all film runs out.
But after this point, I panic, I sweat,
I breathe so heavy, I put off anything I can,
'Til the moment comes, where I no longer am,
And I become the thing I despise,
And anxiety takes over, as an addiction to lies.
